Girls With Guts Holiday Break

2017 was an exciting year for Girls With Guts. We had a successful Virtual 5K, we had a blast during World IBD Day, we had a successful Secret Sister Gift exchange, too. We also welcomed tons of new girls to the Facebook Forum.

Perhaps the most exciting was our 5 Year Celebration in Chicago. We explored the city, took a trip the Shedd Aquarium, and we even had a comedian with IBD spend an evening making us laugh. But most importantly, we reconnected with our sisters.

2017 also brought changes to the leadership of Girls With Guts. The remaining board members are currently stepping into their new roles, and learning all they can to make 2018 an even better year to move the organization forward, and most importantly, to be there for all of you.

At Girls With Guts are all about self-love and self-care. However, being an organization for the chronically ill, led by women who are also chronically ill, presents some obvious challenges.

In the spirit of practicing what we preach, Girls With Guts will be taking a holiday break. What does this mean? Starting on Friday, December 15:

  • Our main Facebook page, Instagram, and Twitter will be quiet.
  • Our online store is closed.
  • Our website will go down while we redesign and update it.
  • The Private Forum will continue to be open, for all your questions and support.

But don't worry! On Tuesday, January 2, we'll kick off 2018 with you, and business will resume as normal. If you have any questions or concerns in the meantime, you can email info@girlswithguts.org.

As always, thank you for your participation in and support of the mission of Girls with Guts!

We hope that you can enjoy the holidays, get a little rest, and get ready to bravely begin another year with us! We can't wait to see you in 2018.
